DEER CREEK GATHERING SYSTEM
Vega Energy's wholly owned Deer Creek gathering system, operated through West Thomas Field Services, gathers and compresses natural gas from Vega Energy's operated wells and third-party producers in the Custer City North area of the Western Anadarko Basin. Owning the gathering, compression and processing infrastructure gives Vega Energy control of wellhead pressures, water handling and gas quality – and captures the full value of the area's liquids-rich (~1,250 Btu) gas stream as new horizontal wells are brought online.i
  • Gas gathered: ~130 MMcf per month (~4.2 MMcf/d)
  • Wells connected: 28 Vega Energy-operated wells plus 15 third-party producer connections
  • Infrastructure: gathering lines, Deer Creek compressor station and slug catcher / processing tie-in
  • Ownership: 100% owned and operated (West Thomas Field Services, LLC)
  • Growth: capacity to connect new horizontal development on Vega Energy's acreage and neighboring operators.
